CK Creative Co. Membership Guidelines

This space is built for collaboration, creativity, and community—and these guidelines help ensure it stays that way for everyone. If you have any questions, please contact us.

What is included in all memberships:

  • Access to the co-working space via a unique entry code during designated hours

  • A full-time or shared desk depending on your membership type

  • Use of the studio space (with advance booking)

  • Shared amenities, including:

    • High-speed internet

    • Kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle, and unlimited coffee/tea

    • Lounge areas for informal chats or short breaks

    • Get-ready station with a steamer and clothing racks

    • Black and white printer

    • Quiet Room for privacy and focus

    • Photography props (lighting, décor, etc.)

    • Walking treadmill to get your steps in while you work

Booking & Studio Use

  • Studio time must be booked in advance using the shared calendar

  • Quiet-use activities (like filming or anything requiring silence or minimal distractions) should happen:

    • During private studio hours

    • In the Quiet Room

    • Or with advance agreement from others using the space

  • The studio is not to be used for personal events or social gatherings unless approved by CK Creative Co.

  • Occasionally, the space may be blocked off for owner use (notice will be provided in advance)

Community Conduct

  • Respectful & Professional Behaviour
    This space is designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and a welcoming atmosphere. Members and their guests are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times.

  • Shared Space Expectations

    • Keep volume to a reasonable level.

    • Headphones are required for all calls and video meetings.

    • Use the Quiet Room for high-volume conversations, recordings, or private work.

    • Respect the privacy of others—no sharing of overheard conversations or client information.

    • Treat others kindly, and always clean up after yourself.

    Zero Tolerance Policy
    We have a zero-tolerance policy for unprofessional, rude, or disrespectful behaviour. Any actions that make others feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or unwelcome will result in immediate removal and may lead to loss of future access or membership.

    Right to Revoke Access
    CK Creative Co. reserves the right to revoke membership or access to the space at any time if behaviour is deemed harmful, disruptive, in violation of this agreement, or simply not a fit for the values and collaborative nature of the space. This applies to both members and their guests.

Safety and Housekeeping

  • You're responsible for your own items—CK Creative Co. is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged property

  • No electric heaters or major appliances without prior approval

  • Please do not park in spots reserved for neighbouring businesses

  • Report any damage immediately so we can fix it

  • Keep your area tidy and shared spaces welcoming for everyone
